First Trip to Disneyland

Thanks to Uncle Aaron, Jeremy and Luke got their first taste of Disneyland. We even splurged and stayed at the Disneyland Hotel!!! Since we went in mid October the whole place was decorated for Halloween.

We got to see Minnie and she let us look around in her house.

Following Minnie's house we got to see Mickey in his house.

The next day we saw Mickey on the street and Jeremy felt like he needed to grab his nose. I tried to stop him at the same time they snapped this picture.

Luke didn't get to go on any rides other then It's a Small World but he liked riding in the stroller just the same.

Luke is eating real food!!!

Church Campout at San Anatonio Lake

On Sept. 18th the Costello clan and Us went up to San Antonio Lake for the church campout. We had a good time boating, hanging out with friends, and playing gin rummy at night.

Patio is all done!!!

The back yard project has been a slow one so far. We broke down and hired some help to get the patio finished. Three hired hands and I installed 8 yards of DG base material, 1 yard of plaster sand, and 700 square feet of pavers in 7 hours. It was an exhausting day but well worth it!

Bass O Lake

This past weekend Luke got to experience Bass Lake for the first time. He really likes the water just like Jeremy does.












We were joined later by the Costellos and Grandma and Papa.

Jeremy got to try out the DVD system in the new car on the way home. The headphones are nice so Mommy and Daddy can listen to the radio and not the movie!!!

10 Year Anniversary

Heather and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary on July 31st. We split the kids up with Auntie Holly and Grandma then went out for a nice dinner. It sure is weird eating dinner without the little ones.

Journey and Heart Concert

On July 23rd Bill, Holly, Heather, and I all went up to the Mid State Fair to see Heart and Journey in concert. The weather was perfect. We sure had a good time. This was the first time Heather and I left both kids with Grandma and Papa and all four of them survived!!!

Luke is rolling over!

Luke starting rolling over about a month ago. We caught him on video one of the first times he made it all of the way over. As you can see, he gets a little frustrated with the whole process.

Of course this was a month ago so now he rolls over so much faster.

As you can see in this video, the playground set is up but I had not finished everything around it at the time. Since this video was taken, we have added some wood bark in the landing area. It is not quite as a dramatic landing anymore.

Luke is Here!!!

Luke is here!!! Althought he was born on April 7th, 2009, this is a picture of him on the day he turned a month old (yesturday). It is hard to believe he is a month old already!!!

Anyway, he was born at 7:57pm on the 7th about 45 minutes after we arrived at the hospital in San Luis Obispo. Little Luke just didn't want to be in there any longer. Because of the short delivery Heather and Luke weren't actually admitted into the hospital (paperwork) until after he was born. Dr. Monroy arrived just in time to make the catch.

Jeremy is the best big brother. He wants to share his toys, hold him, and give Luke kisses all the time. I guess we should enjoy it now because I am sure they won't always get along. Heather is doing well, she is such a good mother and has adapted to having two like a pro.
