Aaron and Marsha get Married!!!

Jeremy's Uncle Aaron and new Aunt Marsha got married on August 8th, 2008. We are so happy for them both and welcome Marsha to the family!

Water skiing in Kerman

We went out to Kerman again for our water ski tournament in August. This year Diane and her sister Carol joined us for a nice relaxing weekend. Jeremy sure enjoys the water. I'm sure he will be skiing within a couple of years.

1st Haircut

Jeremy got his first haircut on July 31st by Heather's stylist Colleen.

He did pretty well through the whole thing!!!

Jeremy is Walking

As most of you know, Jeremy is walking now. We just pulled out the camera a got some video of him walking on Monday. We also have some shots of his first steps but those seem pretty boring now. Anyway, enjoy.

Bass Lake Vacation

We spent a long weekend at Bass Lake over the 4th of July holiday. We had a great time, the weather was perfect, and the friends were plentiful. Here are a few pics from the trip:

Jeremy enjoyed his first real fireworks show. As soon as it was over and we got underway in the boat he was sound asleep in Heather's arms. He also really enjoyed feeding the ducks!!!

Jeremy gets his cast off

On June 18th Jeremy got his cast taken off. He really didn't like the cutting tool they used to get his cast off. He was a lot happier once they put the cutter away and his leg was free again!!!

Crawling with a Cast on His Leg

As you can see from this video clip, Jeremy is getting around okay. As much as he bangs that cast on things, I seriously doubt his leg is hurting him what so ever.

Our first real accident

Heather and Jeremy had a little accident yesterday at home on the stairs. Heather slipped, fell backwards, and landed on her back side. Well, Jeremy's leg happened to be under her when she landed. Heather is okay other then a two small cuts on her hand but Jeremy has suffered a broken leg.

After getting an x-ray at Urgent Care we were referred to a Pediatric Orthopedic doctor in Santa Barbara. They were able to see him in the afternoon and now Jeremy is the proud owner of a big blue cast. The Doctor said we should expect a full recovery. They expect to take the cast off in four weeks if the x-ray looks good at that point.The Doctor also said he shouldn't be experiencing any pain and didn't even give us a prescription for any medicine!!!

After spending the night with it, the worst part for Jeremy is the awkwardness and it is hard for him to sleep in the positions he normally sleeps in. After only a few hours he had already started crawling with it on. It will take a little time for the little guy to figure things out.

Weekend at the lake

We had a good time at the lake this past weekend for the Far West Water Ski Club's May tournament. It sure was hot though, over 100 deg. both Sat. and Sun. Unfortunately the AC unit in the camper went on vacation when we got there. The good news is our good friends Brian and Vannessa Woods were so gracious to let us stay at their place on a moments notice. We owe you guys big time for this!!! Jeremy had a good time looking for Easter eggs on his very first Easter Egg hunt!!










He also liked opening his Easter basket. Daddy enjoyed eating all the candy too!!!
